In this case he's talking-up the benefits of Network Marketing—and, in so-doing, rendering it a disservice by suggesting you don't have to very good at it, just 'tenacious-enough to hang on in there, until you find and sponsor someone who is'.
Of course, that's valid, but sells everyone short by proposing an over-simplistic view of what's required. Much better would be to propose a path of personal excellence, through learning 'how to be very good'.
This isn't Sales' finest, so to redress the balance, tomorrow we'll run something from him which is genuinely excellent.
